Why This Site?
Knowledge is simple information; looking back at you through a two-way mirror and wondering when or if you’re ever going to catch up. Understanding is what we gain when we study that knowledge appropriately: Wisdom is simply doing the right thing, the right way, at the right time, with that knowledge & understanding. I have attempted for years to reach people on a higher plain but then I am seen to appear self-righteous and it is in this perception that I am truly grieved & repentant.
Taking a word to its’ extreme is easy and anyone can do it. Righteous is just another word that has an absolute meaning and also varying degrees of understanding & application: Sin is not unlike this. Seeing ourselves for what we are, would truly allow us to see others clearly. So many Scriptures to use to make even these points! People have mistaken their own perceptions of others’ to actually be representative of what that particular individual is; not simply is like, but is. If I do a Christian act; I am seen or perceived to be, a Christian. Does that make me or mean that I am a Christian? If I 2 days later do a selfish act in front of the same person or people; I am seen as a hypocrite to the faith that they have labeled me with.
This one person now will over the course of their lifetime tell 10 people or more about the “Hypocritical Christian” they once knew; even if I’ve never met this person. Witnessing something happen does not pull people together as friends or even associates to where you would now be justified in saying “You know me”. I am also called a fake Christian by this person and because of what? Their own perception of who I was caused them to reason that since I was not perfect, (showing selfishness) I could not have been a real Christian. I can use this same method & procedure for labeling anyone a Democrat, Republican, Biker, Judge or even Pastry Chef. Does my perception of any particular individual make that person that thing I perceived?
I dress myself still and hope to for many years to come. The labels we wear outwardly: husband, father, sister, aunt, engineer, actor, etc. These are what and who we are. Labels placed; thrust or attached to us by others are not. Christians are the most hypocritical & selfish people I know. We hold others’ to a level of perfection we ourselves can not attain but we seek out minor ways to defend ourselves and attack others. This is extremely reminiscent & duplicitous of the 1st Century Religious Authority that Jesus approached many times about how they were tainting the law and how often they would rebuke, correct, punish, condemn and even kill others for not living up to standards the Religious Authority did not even live up to because they had excused & justified themselves as above the law; not recognizing the Higher Authority over us all.
We are all self-righteous: Each & every one of us is guilty of this each and every day we draw a breath and we should stop thinking that this is just one of those things that will never happen or apply, to me. Christ said there is not one that doeth good, no not one. This was of course excepting God but what Christ meant here is that we are humans; we’re going to make mistakes and there’s not one of us who is good, all the time, in every thing we do. When someone states or expresses an opinion or belief; Christian or not, that’s just what it is and how it should be taught & understood, “Their opinion and/or belief” Teaching from an area of arrogance is where most cross the line and once again we have another’s perception that someone else is teaching in arrogance and then we feel the need to jump on them? It’s Cyclical or Circular, it never ends.
I will teach the message of the Gospel with all I am and all that I have and I will teach that Gospel in total conviction without reservation. The Gospel or Good News that Jesus came & died on
My goal in setting up this Website was not to push myself off as a know-it-all and someone who can only do right. I am human; weak & fallible and I’m going to make mistakes. I’m going to mess up and believe something one minute and have study change my mind later because I was not born or gifted with absolute knowledge and I must recognize that I too, am learning all the time. I would never be so bold or naïve to say that I have learned everything I know and/or believe by simple self-study between me; my Bible & the Holy Spirit. This kind of a statement slaps every one who has ever shared with you; in the face. We are all made up of those surrounding us as well. Everything we believe is through human experience and that even means exposure to other humans who are just as fallible & weak as you or I. I represent thousands of men & women with my beliefs because I know each one of them made a contribution. Some help you confirm beliefs, others help to see things in a different light and others are simply out to force you into what they believe. Read the words, enjoy the teaching, take comfort in the atmosphere and pray to God that He would give you understanding of knowledge so that you may apply wisdom.

"Think not that I am come to destroy the Law and the Prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. Verily I say unto you, until heaven and earth pass, not one jot or one tittle shall pass from the law until all be fulfilled". (Matthew 5:17-18)
Until Heaven & Earth pass! This refers to the passing of the Old Heaven & Earth and introducing the New Heaven & Earth, right?
Christ said Heaven & Earth would pass before the LAW passed, right?
Are we under the LAW?
Heaven & Earth must have passed then?
